Casa das Pedras Casa das Pedras, 'house of stones', sleeps up to 6 guests. Downstairs features a spacious dining area with a kitchen (fitted dishwasher and electric grill/oven). Just off the kitchen is the living room with striking views over the valley. It features a wood burning stove, double sofa-bed, television, DVD player and stereo-set, CD/MC/FM. The downstairs bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet and granit sink. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with two single beds each and at night, romantic views of the lit castle of Marvão. The upper floor bathroom is equipped with bath tub, toilet and bidet. Central heating furnishes warmth throughout the whole house in the colder months. The secluded patio with outdoor furniture is solely for the use of guests staying in Casa das Pedras, as is the private swimming pool with its unique cascading design (10 m. x 5 m. and 1.30 to 2.20 deep). From the terrace you have a spectacular view across the pool, over the valley and to the distant peaks of the Spanish Sierra.
